A gold buyer in a supermarket set up or something similar. They rip off, or alternately make a vast profit

G'day gouldy222 and welcome to the forum. Q31 You will need to go to a reputable Gold buyer or if you have a few oz's you could sell it to the mint. There is a section on the forum about Gold Buyers. Here is link to selling and Gold Buyers.

If I get it than I try to sell it to my friend because he is a gold smith and have a shop at famous market. I think he give me better price than any other. So try to use your personal relation to sell gold.

I do believe banks will also buy gold but I don't know what the price is that you get.
Doesn't hurt to ask next time your at the bank

Welcome to the forum. We sell our gold on Ebay. You can put a reserve price on it but usually the bidding will get it to gold price or over. We haven't had any problems.
