I´m Chris ,located on the oppsite side of the ball. Spending a few weeks detecting in WA in 2009 , i´m planing to come back. Just missing the taste of flies and red dust.....

Welcome to the forum Chris.Nothing much has changed in terms of red dirt and flies,but I do hope you find your stay better and more profitable this time round.

That first trip wasn´t that bad.....found a few....



Anyway, it was pretty expensive to rent a 4x4 camper and a 4500 these days....

So for the next trip, i may find some tips an help over here to buy that stuff.....

Very nice looking gold Chris,well done.Nothings cheap m8,especially coming from overseas and having to hire everything to get you prospecting.Depending on how long a stay,sometimes your better off buying the gear second hand,in good condition and selling it off before you leave keeping costs to a minimum.Not much good doing that for a short 2/3 week stay though.

Know thats nothing for free...also the beer is twice the price than over here.....

Thinking about 20k for reliable car, detector, fuel & supplies.....

but will stay at least 3 month....
