Hi I'm new to detecting, well almost, did go out a couple of times with someone in Vic a few yrs ago. I'm heading to the Vic goldfields later this year for 3-4 months.
Limited budget, so I have a Minelab Eureka Gold, std DD coil, a Minelab 11" DD and a 15" Coiltek DD. Any advice as to their use please?
Will be using GPS and I have a tablet with GPS and Oziexplorer Android. Very well versed in navigation and reading topo maps.
Looking to free camp mostly with maybe 1-2 nights at weekends in a caravan park. Between Wedderburn and Clunes. Any advice here please?
Will be travelling alone, any advice where I might catch up with someone like minded?
