geo vic help

hi all just wondering if there was a tutorial or something out there that can help me get the best out of geo vic, im trying to find some ground in south west victoria, near hamilton. any help would be awesome. cheers steve

I assume you just want to know how to add layers such as the geology layers etc, there is a little green button with a + on it on the left hand side of the screen, when you click it you can select a lot of different options, For this instence we want to go to the Geology tab, once you expand this option you are able to choose again some options.

If we click on images then tick the box with the 250k geology map we then see it is overlaid on our original map.
We also have the option of looking at historical diggings and mines.

I have added a screen shot to show what it looks like.




You can play with a lot of options in here the best way to learn is just to much around with it
