Went out yesterday ,beautiful sunny day and a #*@*en flat battery on my cordless set up Evil or Very Mad
Dug out the old gpx battery hooked it up and pinged a .6gmer,couldn't believe it.
Emailed ismael today, inventor of this great little contraption who gave me some great advice and possible cures for my 4 year old dodgy battery.
Went to apply this sage advice and decided to check battery charger, all looked fine,I gave things a little stress test and low and behold, this little negative lead popped off without a fight.
you wouldn't have known, very deceptive, shrink wrap was hiding this evil:twisted:
Off I went with vigor today a pinged this nice little 4.3 gmer and a point 2 gmer  .
After finding the 4.3 nug the battery decided to have another melt down,so it was back to the old battery.
oh well back to the drawing board ,you have days like these,it's part of prospecting Laughing

Look on the bright side, for all the mishaps you got to bring home some good gold.
Maybe next time there will be more gold.

Regards Axtyr.

Thanks Goldgasm,It's been nice to get out and away from all the bad news.
Forgot to say how quiet it is out in the bush at present "NO JET PLANES" it's freaky, even tonight I went out and stood staring at the universe ,no planes,it's eerie What a Face
Might take a while to get use to it:?:

Certainly, will be confronting to see just how much things get locked down ,but if there are forces to prevent me from driving to the bush ,then I guess I won't for two to three months...

It's hard to interrupt the rules GG,if your driving non stop to the bush then back home again is that ok? as you don't really meet people in the bush.if you do stay well away and chat??
The only possible danger is to stop and refuel at some point, but that has to be done anyway somewhere down the track, sanitize your hands after filling the car up and wash your hands with soap and water when you get home.
I'm cleaning my steering wheel ,handles ,knobs ,levers and everything else possible after being out,[diluted white king/metho is good/ok.
good luck everyone.
