sdc 2300 for $2300 Empty sdc 2300 for $2300

would a second hand sdc-2300 for $2300 be a good first detector? would getting one of the new Coiltek coils made for the sdc2300 be a good for turning it into more of a deep nugget hunter? would mainly be detecting in the vic gold fields area.
