happy early 150th to you welcome stranger I think the official birthday date is feb 5th 150 years ago nice find im 150 years too late

Tim there are two, 150 yr celebrations happening at Moliagul. The first one is on Sat 2nd Feb at the Moliagul recreation / camping ground, right next to the Moliagul hotel. Starting about 11am. This is a picnic type occasion with speeches from the Deason family (direct descendent of one of the finders of the nugget). The other celebration is happening on the day of the anniversary of the finding of the Welcome Stranger. This will happen on the 5th Feb starting at the Welcome Stranger monument, Moliagul. This is being put on by the Dunolly Historical Society and John Tully. Starting at 10 am.
