The knee has healed fine but is still painful and my right knee is giving me the gripes. I will have to get it fixed in the new year.
Thought we might have been able to see the comet and a few meteors tonight but Canberra is covered in a thick dust cloud at the moment.
If you have a clear sky then at about 2300 hrs tonight if you get a pair of binoculars and look between Orion and the Aldebaran (In Taurus) you might spot it as a green fuzz ball. Sort of NNW and about 40 degrees up

Here is a bit of info about the comet:

Another knee op hey? Ouch!

We have been having thunderstorms here, raining, cloud, big thunder bangers. Lightning
Then beautiful sun shine. More rain.
Flash flooding in some places.
So the sky here is grey.
like always when theres something happening in the night sky
The clouds bugger it up Sad

yeah rain and storms everywhere and not much hope of seeing the comet tonight. It will be in the sky for a few days yet but.
A squall came through late yesterday and dumped an inch of rain in my back yard in about 10 minutes. Horizontal rain

You can see here roughly where to look for the comet
