Best Year on the Gold

Post  GemQ on Sat Nov 18, 2017 9:51 am

All,

While it took awhile to get the first today, its weight gave me the best gold output for a year. Had a great day out with a mate, unfortunately a couple of retirement nugget holes came up empty. GT is looking amazing at the moment with the wildflowers still out and the spiders finally making a come back after winter.

We are bloody lucky to enjoy our hobby in the best country in the world.

Hope your containers rattling after the weekend out.

Good Detecting GemQ.
Did get abit warm but still a good day out for us both, no gold for me I used the 2300 and just couldn't believe how many buck shots are still in the ground in some of my old areas yet Guy did well to get that nugget and I am sure more will come.

Bill took him out like I did with you once hoping for a slug to finish is year off with but not as big as yours. Still got to caught up with u in town for a coffee one day.

Gemq still has one more try next time we are out for our BBQ at the BBQ we have every year.

Lets get back there Guy before the year is out and I'm sure u will have your oz's slug.

Cheers

There's no magic to this game fellas & luck only plays a role towards the size/quantity/quality of the find. Understanding the capabilities of ones detector, researching an area/locality & putting in the ground time, is what it's all about.
Well done GemQ for the years tally so far & best of luck to all, who are putting in the hard yards out there. Q40 cheers
