Hi People
I Have Been Prospecting Tarnagulla and Surrounding area's for the last 30 or so years with a little Bit of luck But no fortune.
I was wondering if anyone has come across Hays Gully within about 2 Km of the town, I found hays RD but no Gully.
Just Interested in the history of the diggings and the town and why the name?
Any Hint would be good.

Thanks Dig I Found some Info on the Prospector I was researching and some of the gullies he was in, also the date of his death.
But no mention of Hays, but will keep reading. As Normal the gully will have another name.

Thanks again Moorf

Its off Hill and Dale Rd. Some reports have Stan McNamee finding a good nugget in Cleary's Gully and/or Hayes gully. We had their house for 9 years.Cheers

Thanks For That. Was that Stan that died in 1971?
He also was mentioned at Kangaroo lead and found good gold.
The Maps I have do not give me the gully, But I would think it would be on some of the older diggings.

Cheers Moorf
