PMAV Protest Rally Over Proposed Goldfield Parks

I am sure you are more articulate than me and all over this BS proposal.
In conjunction with PMAV, start a petition at:

Ensure you word it, so that it attracts a large proportion of the general public to sign it, not just prospectors. Include 4wd groups etc.
Spread the word by having a catchy #hashtag and have your members post to facebook, which is where most people sign petitions.
These petitions can spread quickly and gain heaps of signatures in a short time.

Hi everyone.
We had our PMAV rally today at Avoca. We had a great turn out for such short notice. There was over 40 people turn up. "Thanks everyone who came" We had one of the local papers come out (Maryborough Advertiser) to do a story. Also had the Mayor of the Pyrenees Shire Council (that Avoca township comes under) there and he was saying that he did not know anything about the push for these new parks until we told him. He is backing us completely. Also remember Louise Staley, MP for Ripon which all this area comes under her domain, also did not know anything untill I told her 2 weeks ago. This is what this Andrews Government and the Greens are all about "deception" Not telling local or State MP's of what may happen in their local areas. We are planning more rallies in the near future. But this time, being held on weekends with a lot more advertising and trying to get more other user groups involved. But today was a start. As they say "it only takes one match to start a bush fire" And we may have just started a bush fire.

Hopefully the article will appear in the paper in the manner which you hope and then a copy of it to both the Electoral and Ministerial offices of L. D'Ambrosio and the same for Daniel Andrews might just grab their attention also.

Please take my advice on starting a petition online via the petition page. Social media is where half the battles are won!
Example - Trumps presidential win. He used Twitter and social media and it spread his messages better than Hillary's millions on TV and celebrity endorsements.

For those who haven't been contacted from the PMAV there is a rally/meeting on Tuesday 27th June ,those attending to meet at The Farmers Arms Hotel 1027 McIvor Highway Junortoun at 10 AM. then traveling to a nearby forest for a interview with Channel 9 . The PMAV want every able body to turn up waving the Eureka Flag / Aussie flag or Club Banners & the like. Please members find out more about this as it might be the beginning of the end of forest prospecting , I hope I have things right but please check the PMAV / your local PMAV committee. Cheers

We know that a lot of people work and won't be able to make it. It just happened that way because 9 Win News want's to do a story on it and that was the only time they could do it.

Central West State Forest Rally


Dear Members,

Next Tuesday 27th June there will be a mass Rally held in regards to voicing our concerns to the proposed Central West  State Forests being turned into State and National Parks. The areas that they are looking at are :- Wombat, Wellsford, Mount Cole and the Pyrenees Range Forests.
9 Win News Bendigo has contacted Olly for an interview in regards to this matter and in turn Olly is asking for as many people as possible to be at the Interview and show their concerns as well. We are planning to meet at the “Farmers Arms Hotel” 1027 McIvor Hwy Junortoun (just out side of Bendigo) at 10 am. We will be then heading of to the Wellsford State Forest where the interview will be conducted.
It is vitally important that we get as many people there as possible.
Bring along your detectors, Eureka flags, if you have them. And Branches please bring along your branch banners.
