I am trying to find a specific UTM coordinate in google earth. I know the coordinate and want to find that spot -- is there an easy way to do it? Google earth help not that helpful. Mad

G'day Steve

When in Google Earth. Go to "tools" then "options" and make sure you have "UTM" (Universal Transverse Mercator) selected.

Then put a waypoint on the screen somewhere in the approximate vicinity, then right click on the waypoint you just created and go to "properties" and edit the UTM, the zone should be right if your waypoint is in the same map area and then just edit the numbers in the "Easting' and "Northing" fields.

Works for me no worries. Very Happy

Right click will tell you everything
