gold snoop pro
g,day all, my old man has just been given a gold snoop pro (the black control box) just wondering the best setting or settings to use as all target signal maxes out on the dial and ferrous and non ferrous have the same tone, he will use it mainly for coins will these detectors find gold? its only priced at about $300 new any help whould be great cheers joe.

Hey Joe
Try the Disc on 5 or 6 do some tests on different items, with a bit of practice he will have fun on the coins, it will find gold if it is big enough & shallow 2-3g at 2" it is not sensitive, but you never know.

cheers lee, will let him no,went out yesterday just to top up my led collection found an old house site, should be good for coins

hey got the disc set just wondering about setting the sensitivity or should that be changed on different targets? also he has a larger coil mabie a 14inch round should we run that instead of the standed one I think its 6 or 8 inch??? cheers joe.

It has been along time since I looked at mine, I think max it out & play, I could not get the big coil to work right.
