4inch coil
G'day all, I was wondering if a 6 inch coil for a 5000 picks up less emi than say an 11inch is there such a thing as a 4 inch coil

Re: 4inch coil
Hi John
I can confirm that a 8" is quieter EMI wise than an 11" on the 5000.The smallest I'm aware of is the Coiltek 6" round. There is also a 10"x5" coiltek and the 8"x6" Sadie nugget finder.
The smaller mono's will however pick up slightly more ground noise than the larger ones naturally being more sensitive to small deep targets.
